Aion 2's New Dungeon Social Features: Hall of Fame, the Commendation System, and World Marks

The Hall of Fame permanently enshrines the 1st through 3rd forces that clear the new Snowfield of Sorrow Sanctuary, showing the clear date and the full attack-force roster.

For the Korean service, the first entry is already claimed — a 10-player group cleared Hard about 4 hours 16 minutes after the raid opened on September 9. The feature gives the raiding community a durable, server-wide reference point for the meta.

After clearing a dungeon, players can commend party members by choosing one of five categories: Outstanding Skill, Reliable Guardian, Devoted Support, Excellent Leadership, or Kind Mentor.

It activates automatically upon dungeon completion, so no extra menu diving is needed — a lightweight way to recognize good runs and, over time, a reputation signal inside the community.

The update adds 'World Marks' — player-placed map notes usable in Fields, Expeditions, Transcendence, Sanctuaries, and the Abyss.

Practical uses: marking rare mob spawns in the Abyss, pinning boss positions before raid pulls, or flagging gathering routes for your Legion. Because they work across PvE and PvP zones, they double as coordination tools for larger group play.

A smaller but welcome change: dye pattern sizes can now be adjusted, giving more control over how clothing patterns scale on your character.

It joins the skill preset overhaul in the same update — preset builds can now keep different skill levels per preset, so swapping between a raid loadout and an open-world loadout no longer resets your skill levels.

The bundle reads as NCsoft's playbook for healthy group content: recognition (Hall of Fame), positive reinforcement (commendations), coordination (World Marks), and expression (dye sizing).
