AION2 Arcana: official set effects, crystal sources, and version limits

NC's English release names Punishing Overture, Protected Soul, and Indomitable Dedication. Their announced effects respectively add 5% Boss Damage Tolerance, 5% Restoration, and 5% Weapon Damage Tolerance. Those are the source's official English labels and values; they are not general damage bonuses.

The sets can be crafted with Noble Crystal (Bound), which the announcement ties to clearing Mirror of Scarlet Desire. Season 1 and 2 Arcana can be extracted into Mysterious Crystal (Bound), while Season 3 Arcana can be extracted into Noble Crystal (Bound).

The official Season 2 page also introduced the Scales Arcana part and the Death, War, Mystery, Freedom, and Single Strike series. That expansion is evidence that undated older charts are not complete permanent lists.

The sources do not name one best set for every class and do not confirm that the global launch will copy the current seasonal pool unchanged. A choice still depends on class, PvE or PvP objective, active parts, and the current in-game description.

• Label a recommendation as editorial analysis rather than an NC ranking.

Place the set name, piece threshold, full effect text, crystal source, service region, and verification date in one table. Only after those conditions align can a difference be attributed to the sets instead of the build.

Define the purpose first—such as dungeon progression, stable solo play, or a specific party setup—then check whether the effect actually supports it. A “best Arcana” claim without combat context, character setup, and build date cannot be reproduced.

• Compare the same service region and build.
• Keep the complete effect text, not only a number.
• Include purpose, party, and trigger conditions in the selection reason.

After a release, verify the set name, piece threshold, effect, crystal acquisition, and any conversion or reset notice. A change to any one can invalidate an older setup conclusion.

KINA keeps the source and verification date visible, but you should still open the current in-game description before spending resources. If it differs, report the build, set name, and complete effect screen.
